twice same mistake?
« on: April 13, 2018, 09:08:41 PM »
Ok, here are 2 Hands that happened in 5 minutes. Id say the first one is not great since he 3bets me on the turn and i should be able to get away from it - but then again he is most likely a fish limp-calling UTG...
In the second one: is it better to just call down no matter what because he is heavily polarized with the raise and big turn bet?

Hand 1 - We have a set vs a limp/caller. If you think this is /ever/ going to be a fold, your poker radar is way off. This is a fantastic situation for us.

Hand 2 - We have the effective nuts on the flop and should be 3betting. Why wait until the draws complete on the turn to raise? Your line is definitely not the best here, but either way, it's highly unlikely this hand is getting folded.

It's really important that you can objectively evaluate situations regardless of the results.

Thanks! Yea, hand 1 vs limpcaller i wasnt too worried because he is a donk. Second hand i just wanted to give him the possibility to bluff once more on the turn since he is out of position. But so we should fastplay there because of the drawyness of the board?
